Make any event memorable when you celebrate with Farro. Our newest branch in Hawthorn is as cosy and charming as the established ones in Windsor, Thornbury, and Fitzroy. We’re ready to cater to any occasion. Our function rooms in Hawthorn can accommodate up to 30 people, and our delicious menu includes all the things you love about Farro.
We are accepting bookings for daytime and night-time events as well as private and corporate functions. Should you have any special requests, we’ll be glad to discuss them with you. Make a conscious choice to celebrate with Farro and book a function in Hawthorn today.
Our venue is available for hire at anytime of the day, from Monday to Sunday.
Whether you want a small intimate celebration or a larger corporate event, we’re happy to be your place of choice. Our Farro Hawthorn function can seat up to 30 for both private and semi-private arrangements. If you have a specific room arrangement in mind, just let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate your requests.
Not only do we offer our organic spelt pizzas and pasta, we also have a wide range of dishes for vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free guests. All you have to do is enjoy the party and the food!
All our menu offerings are made from high-quality ingredients that surely provide health benefits. We start at $42 per person for our function menus, including appetisers and mains.

Melbourne has already embraced our organic spelt pizzerias in Windsor, Thornbury, and Fitzroy. Now our function room Hawthorn is open for business. We aim to help bring more balance to your life through healthy and delicious food choices through our thoughtfully curated menu (both regular and vegan menus). We also hope to encourage you to make a conscious choice in being healthy and staying healthy.
When it comes to incredible, healthy food, we learned from the best. Our signature 100% organic spelt flour is a recipe inspired by the eating habits of ancient civilisations. Combined with fresh vegetables you’ve got the recipe for a healthy, harmonious lifestyle. Spelt releases energy slowly and is rich in fibre, making it perfect for powering a busy modern lifestyle. It’s also been known to reduce the risk of heart disease and strokes!
All our standard menu pizzas and pastas are made from 72 hour slow fermented spelt flour dough, allowing us to tune our recipes to perfection. It’s what makes Farro’s pizzas unique and something out customers come back or time and time again.
Farro Windsor and Farro Caulfield North offer private function rooms.
But you also have the option to book the entire venue of any of our locations for a private function.
Each venue offers a different size group capacity. Our biggest venue in Caulfield North can welcome up to 150 people.
All our venues offer seated functions, and Caulfield north, Fitzroy and Windsor offer standing functions too.
You can potentially book the venues at any time/ any day of the week.
We offer different food and drinks packages, but if you have a special requirement, we’ll try our best to match you needs.
We strive to include all, no matter your diet, when designing our menus. Therefore, we are offering extensive choices which include vegetarian, pescatarian, vegan and gluten-free. However, whilst we are doing our best to avoid cross contamination (separate utensils, cleaning surfaces, using rice flour on prep surfaces) to keep pour dishes gluten-free, we are not able guarantee that it does not occur. Note that GF options have additional cost.
For bookings over 12 people, we usually recommend our guests to choose one of our Food Sharing Menus and or Beverage Packages. You can find our packages on the function page.
Guests are welcome to bring a cake from outside our venue. A cakeage fee of $20 per cake will apply. We can store your cake before the event, cut and plate the cakes if required.
No we do not offer BYO.
We are happy to let you decorate your space as you wish. If convenient you can drop your decorations to our venue before the event. However, you will need to discuss with our team member to confirm the availability of the room to be decorated beforehand.
For booking over 15~In the regrettable situation that a cancellation is required, a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is needed. Upon failure to provide 24 hour’s notice, a booking deposit will be redeemed ($15per guest). Furthermore, any variances greater than 2 guests in the confirmed booking number will also incur an extra charge of $15 per guest not in attendance. We are understanding that the number of attendees may alter from the number listed on the original confirmation form, final booking numbers can be changed 6 hours prior to time of function at no charge.
